Vice President Pence visits countries of Western Hemisphere Region

The Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence,  started a visit to Central and South America on Sunday, August 13. His first stop was the city of Cartagena in Colombia, from there he went to Buenos Aires in Argentina, then landed in the Capital of Chile “Santiago de Chile” and will wrap up the tour in Panama City.

In each country, he will meet with leaders and authorities to discuss issues of relevance that are a challenge for the region, such as economic development and security.
