Fulbright-CAL scholarships

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to “increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States with the people of other countries.”  Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided over 300,000 participants—chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential—with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.  Fulbright alumni serve in leadership positions in government, academia, business, the arts, science, journalism, and other professional fields.

The Fulbright Program is administered by the Department of State and is supervised by the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Board, whose members are well known professionals appointed by the President of the United States. The Program is primarily funded by the U.S. Congress.  In Paraguay, the US Embassy in Asunción implements the program.

All the details and requirements to apply to the Fulbright Program are here
