Effective December 27, 2021, the passport security surcharge fee will increase by $20. For minor passport applicants who use Form DS-11, the new fee is $135 (Gs. 945.000). For adults renewing their passports using Form DS-82, the new fee is $130 (Gs. 910.000). For adults who must apply in person using Form DS-11, the new fee is $165 (Gs. 1.155.000). If you have an appointment scheduled on or after December 27, you must pay the new fee.
Due to local regulations, cash payments in US dollars for consular services must be made with banknotes that are not stained, stamped, written on, damp, wrinkled, torn, dirty (dirt / dust), or discolored. Series CB and D banknotes will not be accepted. Please bring exact change. For your safety and convenience, we recommend credit card payments. We also accept payment in Guaranies.
