Tomorrow, Friday, March 10, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the first tech camp TechCamp Paraguay 2017 will be held, under the auspices of the State Department, through Of the United States Embassy in Paraguay. The conference will be held at the Quinta de Ykua Sati.

TechCamp Paraguay 2017 is an interactive, two-day regional workshop with the objective of improving participants’ ability to create technological solutions to the challenges presented in their communities, mainly in the areas of education and rural development.
The event will be attended by 60 young entrepreneurs from urban and rural areas of Paraguay, as well as participants from Argentina and Brazil.
Speakers and facilitators of this unique initiative, national and international experts like Raj Ranni, Diego Miramontes, Cynthia Hellen, among others.
In partnership with the Fulbright Association and Koga Impact Lab, these innovative workshops will offer a series of practical presentations and workshops focusing mainly on two major areas: education and rural development, to develop five components: 1) organizational sustainability, 2) inclusion Social development of minorities and people with disabilities, 3) human-centered design, 4) digital storytelling, and 5) technological innovation in the developing world. In short, this initiative will help infuse technological solutions into the discussions throughout this toolkit so that Tech Camp participants discuss in depth the topics and then address the challenges of their communities immediately after the meeting ends.
